I painted on aluminium foil and stamped in over the tree to make the leaves effect.

Prompt 56 Create a mosaic using cut paper. 

Snippets of color from magazines are ideal for this.

This one was fun but it took a few days to complete.

Prompt 55 - Get salty! Use salt as your medium or inspiration today. One idea is to make an

image on a dark surface by pouring it out and arranging it with your hands or other tools.

Here is my "SALTY SPOK"

My project started out as a general face but the more I pushed the 

salt the more it stared to look like Spok, so I just went with it.

or costume, You can work on skin, paper, or nontraditional materials.

I used a box of my old makeup before I dumped it. I think it 

turned out ok but I feel like it can be pushed much more. 

Maybe next time I'll try face or body painting.

Day 51 - Daily Creative Journal

Day 51- Use an internal organ as your inspiration today.

This journal page ended up being pretty 

personal and I almost didn't post it. 

However, I decided to crop it and post it anyways.

Day 50 - Daily Creative Journal

Day 50 -  Use the world of insects as your inspiration today.

Materials used- black pen, acrylic paint, alcohol inks and clear glaze.

I haven't used alcohol inks very much. Here I was just playing around.

Day 49 - Daily Creative Journal

Day 49 - Back to school. 

Use traditional school materials like number 2 pencils 

or lined paper notebooks, to make something nontraditional.

Used markers, lined paper and collage materials.

Try working on blue surface for a real challenge.

I don't love this one (I'm not sure why) but I like the micro bead boarder technique

 I added on the bottom and right side of the quote.

Created for a friend.  She took her shoes off in the parking lot of the 

mall so I could take them home and draw on them.

Thanks Sarah for letting me borrow your shoes.

Day 42 - Daily Creative Journal

Day 42 -  Create a tattoo or something inspired by tattoos. 

Extra credit: apply it temporarily to yourself or someone else. 

I love the watercolor technique tattoos. 

This is created in Photoshop using layers and transparencies. 

It's a very rough  idea of what I had in mind. I found it tricky

 to create a watercolor effect in Photoshop.

Day 41 - Daily Creative Journal

 Create a Rorschach test - style inkblot print. Put a small amount of ink or 

paint on a piece of paper, fold in half, and press the halves together. 

then open it an reveal the image. Bonus: have your friends interpret it!

Watercolor - This was my first attempt to create a watercolor 

painting on wet paper. It's harder than it looks. This turned ok 

but I feel like I need more practice with this technique but it's a start. :)

I'm not sure this is my 'favorite" movie. I had a hard time

 choosing just one so I just choose my favorite movie this year.

I like the yellow and red combo. It makes me happy.
